The Okuma GLS Steelhead rods are built with light and responsive 30-ton carbon rod blanks which are designed with actions that salmon and steelhead fishermen require. With eight total models in the GLS Steelhead lineup, you are bound to find the action that you are looking for. Six of the eight rods are spinning models with the final two being casting versions. They range from 9-feet to 11-feet in length and feature actions in Light, Medium Light, Medium, and Medium Heavy. The Dual Helix wrap design with over 6000 strands of carbon thread keeps these rods strong and light. The GLS series feature Okuma UMR rod tip technology that reduces weight and increases strength.
