By now, the famed Chubby Chernobyl can likely be found in just about any fly box across the United States, and for good reason.

With the ever-growing popularity of this fly pattern, Umpqua has decided to lean on its experience within the industry and put an innovative spin on this classic.

Our goal is to give anglers another option to fish a confidence pattern when the fish have already seen too many big fluffy white wings floating above them.

The new Naked Chubby combines a more slender underbody profile with some holographic flash to still grab fishs attention, while the tonal wing blends give anglers a stealthier approach to wary fish and more closely resemble the true wing colors of natural insects.
